Human needs

a great product is built upon a human need. broadly, ego & individuality are examples.

Conformity crisis

AI backlash is a sign of a conformity crisis. historically, eras go back and forth between indviduality and conformity (reference 1950s & 1960s). we are entering a new era and loxai is here for that.

Design

as the world becomes increasingly homogenized, design will be the means out for people to preserve their uniqueness. reference AI personalization vs individualization and people being placed into demographic groups rather than individually recognized.

the future of productivity

When machines automate work, will we only be busier or will we simply be forced to step back? We'll only be busier; and not quite in the terms of work (reference the rising unemployment rates) but emotionally. Screens can be the guns to shoot you in the foot in this age- feeling your emotions is obviously healthy but we may be on the cusp of an era defined by the ease of potentially losing ourselves in emotional black holes.

It's funny because there's always a balance to things. and emotions will be the only advantage humans have over AGIs, and maybe our current reactions- being only more emotional in response to news, immediate notifications, & social media- are actually a dramatic forecast of that.
In this new era we will have to learn how to healthily feel our emotions (not "regulate" them) if we are to continue, maybe as a species

nietzsche's abyss

The more you preach against a quality it’s like what Nietzsche said: “He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.”

Maybe in this sense you also become what you don’t want to become (when it’s something you utterly despise and spend…a little bit too much…time advocating against).

Intrusive thoughts might be small reflections of our fighting against something
